It has taken Austrian composer Georg Friedrich Haas and the american performer/sexual educator Mollena Williams-Haas forty years of searching and self-reflection before they found and fell in love with each other, deciding to live in a 24-7 BDSM-relationship with Georg as the Dominant and Mollena his "slave". However, due to the fact of Georg's parents being committed Nazis and Mollena being a woman-of-color, there have been comments finding their relationship offensive and/or distasteful.

Film-makers René Gebhardt and Beatrice Behn have followed and documented one year in the life of this unique couple for their film THE ARTIST AND THE PERVERT, and shown the two treating each other with love and utmost respect.
