Shortly after Christmas, the Azerbaijani director Rodion Ismailov (NOMADS) took the train from Moscow to Vladivostok. 7 days later he had taken the longest train ride in the world and interviewed many fellow travellers. He particularly focused on those Russians who could only afford the cheapest, 3rd class tickets. They get a chance to speak about how they see the world and their country. Their stories merge to paint a picture of a country with a thousand facettes that is always moving and changing.
