In July Francis Ford Coppola re-released his war-mythological river movie APOCALYPSE NOW in a new cut which excised two scenes added for the 2001 REDUX version, tightened scenes and, most importantly, remastered image and sound to make Willard's journey into the heart of darkness as enthralling as it had been in 1979.

Filmrauschpalast is offering the opportunity to directly contrast and compare the last two versions by screening them back-to-back on the 11th and 25th of August.
At 5pm there is the 202-minute Redux-Cut, (from 35mm film), and at 8.45pm the journey begins again for the Final Cut (183 Min.) in a shiny digital version which will shake your body and soul.
