Mollena Williams-Haas und Georg Friedrich Haas are happily in love. After both of them have spent decades searching for "the right one", they have decided to spend the future part of their lives with each other. Their bond to each other is passionate and they make no secret of its details. This, however, has not been met with exclusively positive reactions: Georg Friedrich is a composer from a wealthy White Austrian family, while Mollena is an African-American author and performer who grew up in less affluent surroundings. The fact that their relationship is a 24/7-BDSM one, and the associations which a White man dominating a Black woman bring, has led to people questioning their morals and calling them "perverted".

The film lets the lovers tell their story and reflect on the journey towards self-discovery and self-expression which made them find each other.
